« LINQ to LDAP | Main | Make Google Reader perty »
Mohammed Hossam El-Din has created an implementation of IQueryable that enables LINQ to be used against Flickr.  The LINQ to Flickr implementation leverages the Flickr.NET library.  I've been wanting to write my own implementation of IQueryable but it looks like everyone is beating me to all the good data sources. :)  Hopefully, once I finish my chapters for the LINQ book I'll have a chance to complete an implementation of IQueryable for an interesting data source...if there are any left  :)

Is my comment about LINQ to My xxxx at work starting to make sense now? :)

Hi Steve,
We have implemented a complete webservice interface to our document archiving web project (www.arkie.eu/_arkiecn.asmx) covering all application function, and we distribute a client who uses it as an "open source" client.
Our product, Arkie, looks like Flickr and some other file container but with some special features other don't have.

Now we are starting the translation of the interface in english (we have the italian only at this moment) and, at the same time, we want to write a LINQ interface implemented as open source too in our c# client.
If you want to help us/try to do so with us, you can use the sample in your book as a "LINQ to a real world application" (so similar to some other famous web applications)...

Then, let us know if you are interested, because we want to start to write our linq interface early on the next May.

Thank you in advance and sorry for my bad english.
Sincerely,
A.
